Frances Long, MD
Dr. Fran Long is a native of Unadilla, Georgia. She earned her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon and completed her residency in internal medicine at Atlanta Medical Center. Dr. Long is board certified in Internal Medicine and has been an active outpatient primary care physician in the Piedmont Atlanta hospital system since 2006. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Medical Association of Georgia, and the Medical Association of Atlanta.
Dr. Long is committed to building long-term patient relationships, and she encourages patients to participate actively in their healthcare management decisions. Her practice interests include preventative care strategies, personalized cardiovascular risk management, and menopausal transition treatment and support.
Dr. Long resides in Sandy Springs with her husband and two sons. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, boating, spending time on the South Georgia farm, and attending her boys' activities.
